A Comfy is designed for an oversized, one-size-fits-most feel. Choose an adult or Junior wearable blanket by comparing garment measurements with a roomy layer you already like; choose a Long style when you want more length in the same fabric family. A blanket hoodie’s drape depends on your proportions and how you wear it, so a chart is more useful than a model’s height alone.

What should oversized feel like?

Start with room through the body and sleeves, then think about where you want the hem when you stand and sit. If you enjoy curling your legs onto the couch, your coverage preference may be different from someone who mostly sits upright at a desk.

You are choosing a silhouette, not trying to make it fit like a close-cut sweatshirt. Still, width, sleeve length, and overall length need to suit the person wearing it.

How do you compare the measurements?

Lay a roomy garment flat without stretching it. Measure its width across the body and its length, and compare those measurements with the arrows in the selected Comfy’s chart. Match the sleeve measurement method shown in that chart rather than assuming every brand measures from the same point.

The chart’s width is measured across the garment; it is not a recommended body circumference. All dimensions below are in inches.

When is a Long style the useful choice?

The Original Long keeps the Velveluxe™ exterior and CloudSherpa™ lining in a longer pullover. The Dream Long offers extra length with single-layer DreamHaven™ fabric. Choose your preferred feel first, then compare coverage.

The current Original and Original Long charts both show 37 inches across the garment, while their front lengths are 38 and 52 inches. The Dream and Dream Long both show 35 inches across, with front lengths of 37 and 51 inches. In these comparisons, “Long” adds length rather than a wider body.

There is no single height cutoff that settles the choice. Think about torso length, leg coverage, and how much fabric you want around you when seated.

How do you choose between Junior and adult?

Junior styles are typically best for kids 10 and under. The Original Jr. and The Dream Jr. have smaller garment proportions than the adult pullovers. Compare their body width, length, and sleeves with the child’s existing clothes to choose the best fit.

Moving to an adult style adds fabric through the body and sleeves as well as length. If a child is between options, compare the complete chart rather than assuming that the longer one is the better fit.

What about zippers and other styles?

A full zipper lets you open the front for easier layering. If that appeals to you, look at The Original Full-Zip and its own size chart. For a Teddy Bear style, check its current product information rather than carrying over measurements from the six pullovers above.

For a broader look at fabrics and openings, see Compare Every Wearable Blanket. When you are ready to choose a fit, confirm the measurements on the current product chart for your selected style.
